Carmel Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryce Slay out in front who scored 19 points along with seven assists and six steals. Slay is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chandler Kennedy, who scored 20 points along with five assists.
Meanwhile, Greensboro Day School came up short against High Point Christian Academy on Friday and fell 53-40.
Carmel Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. As for Greensboro Day School, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-11.
Carmel Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Greensboro Day School in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, but they still walked away with a 71-66 win.
