The biggest upset of the week belonged to Spencer, who took down 359th ranked Chattahoochee County, 36-34.
The Green Waves were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in AA Region 5. Spencer vanquished the Panthers 36-34 earlier in the week.
Temple's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Elijah McFarland has thrown for 376 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Trevor Shell has 17 catches for 245 yards. Myles Simmons leads the league in rushing with 368 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Heard County takes on the Green Waves. As it stands, the Braves are in first, while Spencer is in fifth.
Heard County extended the longest winning streak in AA Region 5 this week by beating Temple, 62-27. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
