The Bellevue Wolverines will square off against the Redmond Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bellevue will be strutting in after a win while Redmond will be coming in after a loss.
On Monday, Bellevue narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Inglemoor 5-3.
Bellevue got a great performance from Jack Corsi as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Corsi has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Dylan Leaird was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jackson Rankin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.
Bellevue was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Redmond came up short against Issaquah on Monday and fell 6-2. The Mustangs have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
Redmond also got a good showing from Owen Gore, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
At the plate, Redmond saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Lawson, who went 2-for-4 with one double.
Bellevue's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Redmond, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Redmond's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bellevue has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .455. It's a different story for Redmond, though, as they've only averaged .319. Will they be able to contain Bellevue's hitters?
Bellevue couldn't quite get it done against Redmond in their previous matchup back in April of 2018 as they fell 6-2. Can Bellevue avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
