Southeast has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Friday. They will face off against the Liberal Bulldogs at TBD. Hopefully Southeast focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Southeast came up short against Jasper and fell 58-51.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Teagan Warner, who scored 22 points along with 9 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Eliz White, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Liberal entered their tilt with Greenfield with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Liberal blew past Greenfield 71-24 at home. Fans of Liberal have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Southeast's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Jasper's defeat dropped them down to 4-2.
Southeast might still be hurting after the 47-26 defeat they got from Liberal in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can Southeast avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
