Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Aynor Blue Jackets, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. Their tough 41-16 loss to Hanahan on Friday might stick with them for a while. Aynor has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kevon Rivera was his usual excellent self, rushing for 236 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per carry. Rivera has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last seven times he's played.
Aynor now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Hanahan, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.
Aynor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hanahan will take on Gilbert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
