The Delta Panthers came tearing into Saturday's game with 14 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Moffat County 58-20 at home. Delta has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 26 points or more this season.
Taylor Somers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Kylie Huff, who scored 11 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Delta's win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.8 points. As for Moffat County, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
Delta will head out on the road to square off against Coal Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Moffat County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Middle Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
