The LEAP Academy Lancers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 59-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of King's Christian. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for LEAP Academy in their matchups with King's Christian: they've now lost three in a row.
It was another big night for Jason Brice, who scored 23 points for King's Christian. The game was Brice's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Owen Atkins, who scored ten points.
LEAP Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for King's Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
LEAP Academy will head out on the road to face off against Schalick at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. King's Christian and Calvary Christian Academy will round out the year against one another at 2:00 p.m. on December 28th at.
