Gavin Ray Lockett Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Gavin Ray Lockett was instrumental in extending Pueblo West's winning streak to seven on Friday. Ray Lockett made a major impact, rushing for 206 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (112.3). His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Mesa Ridge had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Ray Lockett it was a similar story. Ray Lockett rushed for 145 yards and four touchdowns the last time he and the Grizzlies duked it out back in September of 2023.

Leland Frescaz's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Doherty over Montrose
While Doherty might've come up empty on Friday, Leland Frescaz wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, Frescaz was still balling out as he threw for 381 yards and three touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
This year, Frescaz has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 220.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to four.

A Season-Best Effort from Noah Favreau Leads Falcon over Widefield
Falcon was led to victory by Noah Favreau, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Favreau rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
With the victory, Falcon broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. Favreau will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Doherty on Friday.

Doherty came up short on Friday despite Brody Noll delivering his best game to date. Noll picked up 205 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 75 yards.
For the year, Noll has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 80.7 receiving yards per game.

Trevon Salas Delivers Electric Performance Vs Pueblo West
Trevon Salas put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns.
Pueblo West had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Salas it was a similar story. Salas rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Cyclones duked it out back in September of 2023.
