The Foreman Hornets will head out on the road to square off against the Wells Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wells took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Foreman, who comes in off a win.
Foreman can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match last Thursday. They claimed a resounding 51-18 win over Raby at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Foreman has posted yet this season.
It was another big night for Alysia Gause, who scored 24 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Foreman's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shamyriah Hines, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Wells' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Farragut, falling 48-18. Wells was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Ana Melo, who scored six points.
The win makes it two in a row for Foreman and bumps their season record up to 8-4. As for Wells, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
