Even though the Peetz Bulldogs have not done well against the Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Peetz walked away with a 67-57 victory over Haxtun. The victory was nothing new for Peetz as they're now sitting on three straight.
Noah Naegele was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 33 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Chance Seglke, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 assists.
Peetz has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Haxtun, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Peetz on the road again on Friday and play against Fleming at 4:00 p.m. on January 19th. As for Haxtun, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sedgwick County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
