Baseball Recap: Centennial Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Centennial entered their tilt with Parkrose on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Broncos, sneaking past 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-2 on Wednesday.

Isaac Galofteanu spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Centennial's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Julio Lauzurique Yordi, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Centennial's record is now 6-16. As for Parkrose, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.
