Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Liberty County has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 167.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Cottondale struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 314.7 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Liberty County couldn't quite finish off Cottondale in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 56-53. Thankfully for the Bulldogs, Jocarian Garrett (who rushed for 338 yards and four scores while picking up 11.3 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
