It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Latitude Lynx can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Lions on the road and fell 93-41. Latitude just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.
KIPP King's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zion Taylor, who scored 21 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Taylor has been hot recently, having posted 20 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Jones, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds.
Latitude dropped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for KIPP King, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.
Latitude does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for KIPP King, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 79-56 win vs. Bay Tech on the 12th.
