The Manor Mustangs will challenge the Norview Pilots at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Tuesday, Manor earned an 11-8 win over Norcom. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Kara Williams was excellent, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Naula Ramsey, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norview). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Lake Taylor a 21-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Pilots in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won six in a row.
Hailee Brickhouse and Valerie Miranda made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Brickhouse kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Miranda tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Brickhouse got on base in all four of her plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Miranda went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Miranda has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Brenna Foster was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases. Reannah Sanders was another key player, going 2-for-5 with four RBI and two runs.
Norview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .789. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Norview's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Manor, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1.
