The Haverhill Hillies are taking a road trip to take on the Dracut Middies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Haverhill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.
Haverhill had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 25-run drubbing they dealt Lawrence on Monday. The Hillies were the clear victors by a 25-0 margin over the Lancers. The Hillies' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Bella Lebucha (2028) made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Dracut entered their tilt with Lowell on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Red Raiders.
Dracut pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Haverhill, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8.
Haverhill took their victory against Dracut in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hillies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
