There's no place like home for Tanque Verde, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over the Palo Verde Titans on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Landon Walker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Walker was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

In other batting news, Dylan Lewis was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Liam Brunell, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs.

Tanque Verde was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.

Tanque Verde has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5-1 record this season. As for Palo Verde, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.
