The Trinity Christian Crusaders will head out on the road to face off against the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Trinity Christian put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They breezed past Ravenscroft to the tune of 49-7. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Ravens recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

It was another big night for Jaden Clifton, who rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. Those 110 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Amir Jackson was another major influence, as he rushed for 51 yards and ran in a TD.
Another reason for the win was Trinity Christian's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Baganley Donzo and Amari Robinson, who racked up five sacks between them. Donzo is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Another thorn in Ravenscroft's side was Dontario Austin, who made 14 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
North Raleigh Christian Academy not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 25, 2024 (when they won 41-12). They took their game with ease, bagging a 49-20 victory over Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy. The Knights pushed the score to 42-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Ospreys cut but never quite recovered from.
Trinity Christian better keep an eye on Davin McCoy. He was instrumental in North Raleigh Christian Academy's win, rushing for 251 yards and four scores while picking up 10.5 yards per carry. With that strong performance, McCoy is now averaging an impressive 122.7 rushing yards per game. John Amanchukwu was in the mix too, providing North Raleigh Christian Academy with one TD.
Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Everything came up roses for Trinity Christian against North Raleigh Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 55-21 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
