Sumner put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They had just enough and edged the Newsome Wolves out 4-3. For the Stingrays, this counts as revenge for the 6-1 victory Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

Ashlynn Knighten and Kynedi Richardson scored all four of Sumner's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Sumner's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four contests. As for Newsome, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-2.

Sumner has already played their next matchup, a 5-3 victory against Bloomingdale on the 6th. As for Newsome, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Lennard on the 6th.
