Tate is 1-9 against the Patriots since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Tate Aggies will square off against the Pace Patriots at TBD. Tate is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, Tate lost to the Patriots on the road by a decisive 48-29 margin.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Tina Lett, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Hannah Pittman, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Pace came into Friday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Central by a score of 51-43 on Friday. The victory was just what Pace needed coming off of a 55-33 loss in their prior contest.
Tate has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Pace, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.
Tate was taken down by the Patriots 50-16 when the teams last played back in January of 2022. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Tate was down 29-7.
