 Vermilion is hoping to do what Huron couldn't  on Monday: put an end to Norwalk's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Norwalk's defense stepped up to hand Huron  a   4-0 shutout. The Truckers' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a  goal in their last three  games.
 They hit Huron with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from

 Ben Snyder,  and  Snyder.
 Meanwhile,  everything went Vermilion's way against Willard on Monday as Vermilion made off with  a  5-0 win. Given the Sailors' advantage  in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings  (they are ranked 240th, while the Crimson Flashes are ranked 482nd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Norwalk is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record  this season. As for Vermilion, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4-2.
