The Tattnall County Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Toombs County 63-34. While losing is never fun, Tattnall County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 395th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 90th).
Toombs County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dominic Eason, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Jesus Quintero was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with five steals.
Tattnall County dropped their record down to 6-17 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Toombs County, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-2.
Tattnall County will head out on the road to challenge the Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Toombs County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Windsor Forest has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 409 points over their last six games.
