After soaring to 35 points the game before, Wayne faltered in their contest last Friday. They suffered a grim 0-28 defeat to Lynnville-Sully last Friday. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing 6 points in the game before, Grandview Park Baptist made sure to put some points up on the board against Martensdale-St. Mary's. Grandview Park Baptist put the hurt on Martensdale-St. Mary's with a sharp 42-14 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Grandview Park Baptist had established a 34-14 advantage.
Grandview Park Baptist's win lifted them to 2-3 while Wayne's loss dropped them down to 2-3. We'll find out if Grandview Park Baptist can add another positive mark to their record or if Wayne can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Grandview Park Baptist's step.
