Adding to the longest winning streak in Century this week, Foothill beat Canyon 21-19. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Knights.
El Dorado took down Brea Olinda 56-41 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Corey Elsasser threw for 302 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Billy Hanley was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 115 yards on 21 carries as the Wildcats fell to Foothill. Teammate Nick Drury added to the ground attack by rushing for 45 yards.
5-foot-11 quarterback Dylan Osborne of Villa Park is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,864. He has also thrown 15 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Prescott. The Canyon star has 43 catches for 900 yards.
The Spartans' Osborne is within 136 passing yards of surpassing 2,000 on the season coming into this week's game against El Modena.
Prescott of the Canyon's is a few catches away from breaking 1,000 yards for the season. He needs only 100 receiving yards in this week's game against the Golden Hawks to get there. He has recorded 43 catches for 900 yards this year.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Esperanza takes on Doug Case's team. At the moment, the Aztecs are in fourth, while the Knights are in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Esperanza takes on Foothill. Gary Bowers' team has allowed 183 points this season, while the Knights have given up 124. The Aztecs allowed 32 points last week as they fell to Villa Park.
El Dorado led Century in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on Brea Olinda.
