Parker Hoover was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Hoover was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Traverse City Christian is undefeated when Hoover posts two or more runs, but 3-5 otherwise.
In other batting news, Christian Brower was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Broderick, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
