Heartland I recap September 17, 2013
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Shikellamy, who defeated 105th ranked Selinsgrove, 14-7. Garrett Kemberling threw for 91 yards in the win.
Jordan Wagner and Logan Finsterbush provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Milton. The longest such play in Heartland I this season, the connection resulted in 63 yards.
Weston Baylor and Sam Dressler gave Danville a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Baylor threw for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Dressler ran for 170 yards. Isaiah Croll also contributed to the rushing game with 70 yards on the ground.

Dressler provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Danville topped Shamokin Area. Dressler's key target this week was Evan Tanner, who caught 4 passes for 74 yards.
Finsterbush was the best wideout in the league this week as Mifflinburg topped the Black Panthers. Finsterbush tallied 4 receptions for 128 yards. Brian Zimmerman helped Mifflinburg's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 17 yards.
Dressler was the best running back in the league this week.
Baylor put up the best numbers through the air as Jim Keiser's team bested the Indians.
The Wildcats' Wagner and Finsterbush have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Heartland I in both passing and receiving yards. Wagner has thrown for 384 yards this season, while Finsterbush has 7 catches for 210 yards. Dressler from the Ironmen leads the league in rushing with 454 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Mifflinburg takes on Danville. As it stands, Jason Dressler's team is in third, while the Ironmen are in first.
There should be lots of points scored when the Wildcats and Danville face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Mifflinburg comes in having scored 65 this season, while the Ironmen have scored 92. The Wildcats scored 38 points last week as they bested Milton.
Danville's Dressler rumbled for the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against Shamokin Area last week.
