Despite the loss, St. Francis still got an impressive performance from Joseph Rose, who went 7 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and 3 assists. That was a full 48.3% of St. Francis' points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Sam Braun was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven assists.
St. Francis' defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-12. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Pacific Grove, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.
