It was the first time this season that Miner grabbed two or more steals. Ethan Collins was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Midland Trail's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2. As for Nicholas County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.
Midland Trail will stay at home for another game and welcome Greater Beckley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on February 8th.
