Baldwinsville came out on top against Fayetteville-Manlius on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Bees blew past the Hornets 14-3. Considering the Bees have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Baldwinsville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Baldwinsville will host East Syracuse-Minoa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, they will square off against Cicero-North Syracuse at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Northstars' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
