Ellinwood lost to Inman 41-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
More Prep-Marian made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,122 from 10,278. The improvement was the result of a 26-17 victory over the Monarchs last week.
Thanks to the talents of Taylor Richter and Nolan McCurry, Hoisington has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Richter is tops in the league in passing with 390 yards, while McCurry has rushed for 1,191 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is the Eagles' Tanner Swank, with 329 yards on 25 catches.
McCurry broke off the longest rushing play in Mid-Central this week with a 67-yard run against More Prep-Marian. McCurry ended up with 310 yards rushing as the Cardinals beat the Monarchs.
