Softball Recap: Plainfield South Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Plainfield South's offense. They fell just short of the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

With the defeat, Plainfield South broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-5. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, their record is now 5-1.

Plainfield South will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coal City at 4:30 p.m. on the 10th. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, they are taking a road trip to face off against Marist at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
