The third road match was the charm for the Lathrop Spartans, as they earned their first road win of the season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Linden 79-47 on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lathrop also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2019.
Among those leading the charge was Reniel Crisostomo, who went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and 0 assists. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chris Ramos, who scored 7 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals.
Lathrop's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Linden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Lathrop will head out on the road to face off against Sonora at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Linden, they will face off against Union Mine at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Union Mine's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
