Cordova not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 25th. Everything went their way against the Grant Pacers as they made off with a 16-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.
Isabella Tarpley-Cruz made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Tarpley-Cruz was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Becca Lee and Briel Brookins did most of the damage at the plate: Lee scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Brookins went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
