There's no need to mince words: Granger lost to Zillah on Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-48. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Granger of the 8-15 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head.
The loss dropped Granger's record to 2-4. Zillah added further sheen to their flawless record, now 6-0.
Next week Granger take on Cle Elum-Roslyn at 7:00 PM. Cle Elum-Roslyn are limping into the contest on a seven-game losing streak. As for Zillah, they will face off against La Salle. Backed by four consecutive blowout victories, La Salle are looking for someone to give them a challenge; hopefully Zillah will step up.
