Sandy Creek extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Amari Latimer. The Patriots took down the LaGrange Grangers 23-7 on Friday for which the team can thank Latimer, who rushed for 212 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 61 yards.

Sandy Creek's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for LaGrange, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Sandy Creek will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Upson-Lee at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. As for LaGrange, they have already played their next game, a 35-23 win against Trinity Christian on the 5th.
