Football Recap: Eisenhower Skates Past Iroquois with Ease

Eisenhower won against Saegertown last Friday with 34 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Knights blew past the Iroquois Braves 34-0. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Logan Penley went supernova, rushing for 83 yards and four scores. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Eisenhower was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 202 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 168 rushing yards in seven consecutive games dating back to last season.

Eisenhower didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Caleb Jakubczak and Joe Gigliotti.

Eisenhower now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Iroquois, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
