North Cross was led to victory by Jesiah Hines and Antonio Mack. Hines scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, while Mack scored 37 points along with five rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Hines has scored at least 25% of North Cross' points. Jaziel Hart was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Fredericksburg Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isaac Holst. Despite the final result, he shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 27 points and 15 rebounds. Those 27 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Noah Caesar, who scored 25 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for North Cross and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Fredericksburg Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
