Tree of Life Christian won the last time they faced Mansfield Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Flames with a sharp 3-0 win.

Tree of Life Christian never let Mansfield Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 26-24.

Tree of Life Christian can attribute much of their success to Mimi Cochran, who had 11 assists and seven digs. Another player making a difference was Megan Donnally, who had 13 assists and six digs.

Mansfield Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Nora Cook, who had six digs and four aces, and Mia Running, who had 17 assists and 11 digs. Cook is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

The victory got Tree of Life Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Mansfield Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Tree of Life Christian has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Genoa Christian Academy on the 22nd. As for Mansfield Christian, they will face off against Mapleton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
