Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Wins Going Away Against Whitewater

Jefferson won the last time they faced Whitewater and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Whippets. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 25-7.

Olivia Stelse paced Jefferson's offense, picking up 16 kills. Stelse got some help from Finley Sikora and her 28 assists. Sikora was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Jefferson moved to 7-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Whitewater, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jefferson will square off against rival Delavan-Darien at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Whitewater is set to challenge their familiar foe East Troy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
