Anaya Mendez was a major factor in Everglades's victory over Miramar on Thursday. Mendez showed up in a big way, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-6. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 2.1 runs per game.

Mendez and Everglades will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against West Broward at 5:15 p.m. on April 1. Everglades hasn't beaten West Broward recently, having gone 0-7 since February of 2015.
