The Geneva Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Conneaut with a sharp 67-41 victory. Given Geneva's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Spartans are ranked 451st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Perhaps the best among those players was Alexis Kiser, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Fix, who scored eight points along with 15 rebounds.
Geneva's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. As for Conneaut, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Geneva will take on the Dragons at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lakeside has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 20. As for Conneaut, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Blue Streaks at 1:15 p.m. on February 3rd.
