The Green Hill Hawks were the 46-37 winner over the Wilson Central Wildcats when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. Green Hill took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wilson Central on Friday.
Wilson Central was led to victory by Brylee Fly and Jadyn Cooper. Fly scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks, while Cooper scored 11 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Rita Planella, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Green Hill's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-5. As for Wilson Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Green Hill will be home for the holidays to greet Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wilson Central will take on Berks Catholic in a holiday battle at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at.
