St. Augustine Prep faced Moorestown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Hermits never let the Quakers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Hermits, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for St. Augustine Prep, bringing their record up to 17-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Moorestown, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Looking ahead, St. Augustine Prep is taking a road trip to challenge Vineland at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Moorestown, they will host Winslow Township at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.77 runs per game on average), something the Quakers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
