The Lumen Christi Archangels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 55-22 loss at the hands of Minto. While losing is never fun, Lumen Christi can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Minto is ranked fourth).
It was another big night for Andrew David, who scored 18 points for Minto. David has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jeff Frank, who scored 11 points.
Lumen Christi's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Minto, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
Lumen Christi will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Birchwood Christian. Minto's road trip will continue as they head out to face Tri-Valley on January 18th.
