After losing to Columbia Independent the last time they met, Calvary Lutheran decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lions walked away with  a   3-1  victory over Columbia Independent  on Friday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Lions.
 Calvary Lutheran had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-20, 25-19,  25-21.
Calvary Lutheran found their leader in sophomore  Teagan Foley, who  had five  digs and two  aces.
 Calvary Lutheran  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 12  aces. They are 13-2 when  they serve at least ten aces.
Calvary Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 16-9-2. As for Columbia Independent, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
 Calvary Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  defeat against Ellington on the 30th. Columbia Independent does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
