The Orme Warriors entered their tilt with Leupp Boarding with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Orme strolled past Leupp Boarding with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 45-29. That's another feather in the cap for Orme, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Orme can attribute much of their success to Preston Tisi, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. That's the first time this season that Tisi scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was John Collins, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Orme pushed their record up to 7-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Leupp Boarding, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orme will take on Tri City Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Leupp Boarding, they will be playing at home against BASIS - Prescott at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. BASIS - Prescott is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
