It was a good run, but Amundsen unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lane Tech Champions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Champions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10.

Amundsen's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Lane Tech, they pushed their record up to 28-6 with the victory, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Amundsen will challenge Elmwood Park at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. Lane Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
