The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Summit Academy in their matchups with Imani Christian Academy: they've now lost four in a row.
Imani Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Deshawn Barrnet out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barrnet has scored all season. Avery Wesley was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Summit Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Imani Christian Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-10.
