On Wednesday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Floral Park Memorial had to settle for a 43-41 loss against Holy Trinity. Floral Park Memorial has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Maya Logie was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with nine steals and eight rebounds for Holy Trinity. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Logie has scored at least a third of Holy Trinity's points. Kiera Kozlowski was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Floral Park Memorial now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Holy Trinity, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.
Floral Park Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Holy Trinity will be playing in front of their home fans against Sacred Heart Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
