 Meanwhile, Mount Vernon put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season  on Saturday. They blew past Kentlake 9-3. The  win was familiar territory for Mount Vernon who now have five in a row.
 Edmonds-Woodway's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 21-5-1. As for Mount Vernon, their win bumped their record up to 22-2-1.
 Edmonds-Woodway came up short against Mount Vernon in their previous meeting  back in March, falling  7-2. Can Edmonds-Woodway avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
