A big part of Anderson's win came down to the chemistry between Owen Scalf and his top target Jeremiah Glenn. Scalf threw for 282 yards and one touchdown while completing 80% of his passes while Glenn rushed for 83 yards and one score on only eight carries. Those 83 rushing yards gave Glenn a new career-high. Jordan Davis also helped with two TDs in total.
Meanwhile, Winton Woods never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past West Clermont, posting a 35-0 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.
